Netta Ivtzan

Counseling Intern - Supervised by Dr. Joanne Bernal Franks, LPC-S

Netta is a counseling intern currently pursuing her graduate studies at Lindsey Wilson University. She brings previous experience in the therapeutic field working with parents and children, incorporating “Art as Therapy” and mindfulness-based approaches to support emotional expression, connection, and growth. Netta believes healing begins through connection, awareness, and feeling truly seen. Working from a relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed perspective, she believes our earliest relationships and life experiences shape how we understand ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. She views therapy as a collaborative space where clients can explore their stories, relationships, and emotional experiences with compassion and honesty. In a warm, authentic, and supportive environment, Netta invites clients to explore patterns and experiences that may be influencing their lives today, while helping them build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with a greater sense of agency and control over their mental and emotional well-being. She is currently focused on supporting couples and individuals, including parents of young children and clients from young adulthood through adulthood navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, emotional challenges, and life transitions.
